Whether you have a family session booked with me or someone else this Christmas, here are some family outfit ideas I put together to give you some inspiration when choosing what to wear. All links can be found under each photo.
The Reds – The traditional look for Christmas photos! I always recommend that my clients don’t wear bright or bold colors (like red) for their session due to them not photographing well. But this berry/burgundy red has a earthy look that photographs beautifully.
The Greens – Another traditional Christmas color but less used for photos, so if you had use Red for previous Christmas card why not changing up a bit this year with this beautiful green jewel tones?
Toddler Boys’ Top & Bottom Set // avaliable in baby size too
The Metallic Creams – Every Holiday season needs a little bit of sparkles and glam. This beautiful soft cream tones are perfect and photograph beautifully. A classic look that is a little different from the norm !
Remember When having your Christmas portrait taken, think big picture. Sure you want it on your Christmas cards. But will you also want to hang a canvas on your wall? By choosing outfits in holiday colors but with a classic feel, you can do both.
I do love-love the themed photo of everyone in jammies eating cookies. Those portraits are my favorites and they are bound to make adorable Christmas cards. However, most likely you won’t want to frame those images for your home. So, when having your Christmas portrait taken, think big picture, and choose outfits in holiday colors with a classic feel.
I hope you enjoy this short Christmas Family Photos Outfit Inspiration.
